How leaderboards are built and settled
Most ReelRaven tournaments use a points-per-bet system rather than a gross-win format. Each eligible spin or hand earns points proportional to the stake size relative to your balance, or in some network events, relative to a fixed point-per-pound-wagered ratio. The Spinoleague by Spinomenal, for example, awards one point per £1 wagered on featured Spinomenal titles, with a bonus multiplier for wins exceeding 20x the stake.
Leaderboard snapshots are published inside the tournament lobby every four hours during active events. Final settlement happens within two hours of the tournament close. Prize funds are credited directly to the player’s real-money balance - no separate bonus wallet, no wagering requirement on tournament prizes (unless the specific event terms state otherwise, which applies to the weekly free spin reloads).
The daily Cashback operates on a separate mechanism. It is calculated as 15% of net losses accumulated in a single calendar day, capped at £400. Cashback credits are deposited by 12:00 UTC the following morning. Critically, the daily cashback at ReelRaven carries no wagering requirement - it is credited as real balance and is immediately withdrawable, which is above average for offshore operators in the GBP market.
Prize drops (random tournaments) like the Pragmatic Play Drops & Wins operate on a random trigger mechanism. A qualifying bet on a featured title has a chance to trigger a cash prize drop at any moment during the active period, regardless of round outcome. The chance of a prize drop is proportional to the prize pool allocation across the monthly period.
Wagering considerations during active events
Running a welcome bonus alongside a network tournament is possible but requires planning. The £5 max-bet restriction applies while a bonus is active, regardless of the tournament format. Some tournament events award higher points to bets above £5, which creates a conflict with an active welcome bonus. In that case, players must choose: clear the bonus first (and then enter the tournament at full stake), or accept the reduced tournament multipliers and play within the £5 cap.
Our recommendation for new GBP players with a welcome bonus active: prioritise clearing the wagering requirement first. The welcome bonus at £500 max carries more value than most tournament prize distributions for an average player, and the £5 cap risk is not worth it for a mid-table tournament position.
Players without an active bonus can participate in network tournaments at any stake within their account limits. There is no opt-in for Drops & Wins or Spinoleague - participation is automatic on eligible bets. Check the tournament terms for the current list of qualifying titles before spinning - not all games qualify for every event.
